What is Xero
Xero is an easy to use online accounting system that is designed specifically for small businesses. At its core, Xero is an easy-to-use but powerful online accounting system for small businesses and their advisers.
Xero includes a full accrual accounting system with a cashbook, automated daily bank feeds, invoicing, debtors, creditors, GST and reporting. Xero is an online accounting system that gives you access to your financial information anytime, anywhere. Xero updates your financial information in real-time – it puts you, the business owner, in control of your accounting system. No more sending files back and forwards with your accountant – you both access the same data at the same time. You always know the true state of your business finances.
With Xero you receive a daily feed from your bank accounts that you can allocate to the appropriate accounts in your ledger. You can create and send your debtors invoices right from Xero, record your accounts payable and batch them for bulk electronic payment which can be uploaded to your online banking system (if supported).
Please contact us for a free tour of Xero and to see how it may serve you. You can see videos and tutorials through Xero’s website.
To use Xero you must have an internet connection. Dial-up will do just fine, but broadband in better! You will find working with Xero to be somewhat similar to your online banking system, but giving you so much more information!
Xero may not be suitable for you if you do not have easy access to a computer, are not comfortable working online, hate online banking, or think that Al Gore invented the Internet. But if you want to take control of your business finances, wonder how you ever did business efficiently without the internet, and can’t wait for your business to grow, then we think you’ll just love Xero!
And of course, we’re Xero Partners and Certified Advisers. You can have full confidence that we’ll handle your data and your transition smoothly. We offer full conversion, training and support services.
